She said that too.

Lots of talk on the front license plates. I got a ticket in January (daily driver), and when I went to court, the Judge spent 30 minutes (pre-trial briefing) talking about the TX req't for Front Lic. Plates. Make No joke about it, it is a requirement. Carrollton/Dallas fine is a $250 flat fee + court cost. In mid June, as a passenger, we got pulled over, the TX DPS went toward the front of the Carrera to look. Luckyly one was there, the driver was cited for speeding only. The DPS officer validated the req't and confimed when we asked why he went to the front.

The Cobras technically are not grand fathered either. At DMV, they issued 2 plates and made sure that I was aware that both plates had to be mounted. I showed them the picture of the car- and they said "well you have to figure it out", and again reaffirmed the TX law - that was in Feb 08. => I only have one.

Default Front Plate

I mounted my inclined on the base of the shroud. So I have a front plate, from the front of the car it IS visible. So I am mostly legal.

Check the front plate bracket at replicaparts.com. No alterations to your vehicle.
