Okay with almost perfect weather for a lunch time meet, I think a patio style restraunt is in order. My suggestion and honestly considering parking in direct view and good food is Twin peaks in lewisville, now I know this may not be the perfect suggestion because of the servers but it's an idea, anyone else know of nice patio restraunts feel free to chime in.
lets meet around 10:30 or so then around 11is go in and eat

Okay Okay I just caught that I screwed up the year, sorry been working alot and the g/f is overright now so i'm being distracted

Yes, I think it's right in front of the new Best Buy, 35 S.B. service road between Round Grove/Hebron and 121

That wouldn't be my first choice or probably my second either, but I will be there where ever ya'll pick.

What about Champs in Irving, they are always glad to have us and we have our own little room.

Patrick...Great idea for a guys only outing, however we have an open invitation from the SCAT group...see below.

Just a reminder that our annual club picnic will be Saturday November 1, 2008 at One Eleven Ranch Park
2121 Brand Road in Garland. This is the same place we have had the picnic the last couple of years. The club will furnish meat, buns, condiments and drinks, and we ask that everyone bring a side dish or desert of some kind. . We have the park from 8:30am till 3:30 pm with lunch served around noon. Your loyal President will be cooking again this year so bring your appetite I will be there early so come on over and hang out for a while. This is always a fun time and you get to watch me cook.
See ya'll there.

Gary Morris
President 2008

We are going to join Gary and SCAT company. BTW, thank you for all of your good wishes and prayers regarding Jackie's dad.

Just to clarify .. I know a number of us are also in SCAT .. but I didn't see an invitation for the DCC to convene enmasse at the SCAT picnic .. just want to follow polite protocol. We probably ought to have our luncheon separately unless we are invited. I'm good with Champps Irving or wherever ...

I won't be able to do an all day thing, I have some other plans already. If anybody just wants to do lunch I'm in, but I won't be able to do SCAT.

Well.....now that you metioned it.....how about an invite from the Presidente!!! My Cobra brothers are always welcome at any SCAT event....just did not know if anyone would be interested. All that we ask is you bring a side dish of somekind. Nothing fancy...just something to go with burgers and dogs and let me know you're coming!!! I usually start cooking around 11:30

Hey el Presidente...Muchos gracias por el invitatione. We'll be there around 11:30 with a couple of side dishes. We will have to split about 1:30pm...Is that what they call, "Eat and Run?" See you all Sat.

I can't make it this weekend - getting my Nascar on. I'll miss you guys, though.

Gary, thanks for the SCAT invite, sounds like fun and those are nice folks.

Patrick, we need to do a guy's afternoon at Bone Daddy's or Twin Peaks or wherever. Mix in some overdriven testosterone with our horsepower. Before the holidays suck everyone in. Doesn't have to be on schedule.

You're right, this weather is AWESOME!!!

so what is with this "guys" stuff... Stacey's favorite place is hooters... when she was pregnant with Andrew we had Bentley wings twice a week I think. Twin Peaks is good also and we have been there a few times. I have to say Bone Daddy's is also at the top of her list... she actually has been there more than me (and told me about it originally)

The only "guys" event I can think of is the annual car show at the Lodge

I will be there, but Arps and Burroughs #38 is still beached. Sorry all.
Believe me you are not as upset as I am.

The SCAT picnic sounds great. I will bring my son and maybe some cookies for dessert.
