What part of N. Texas. Here in the Dallas area we have the Dallas Cobra Club (DCC). We meet the first saturday of the month. Keep a watch on this page for meeting time and location. We usually don't decide until just a day or 2 before hand.

Welcome Mark!
You have accomplished all the formalities necessary to be a member of TCC
This forum is the communication medium for the DFW group. Watch here for activites and the location of the monthly luncheons/breakfasts. We meet on the first Saturday, lunch during the cool months, breakfast/brunch during the hot months. There are spontaneous events on other days. It all apprears here first ...
You will see us discussing our next "big thing" Tulsa 2009 on an adjacent thread ...
Looking forward to meeting you next time we are all together!

Mark, post a little info about yourself and your Cobra. If this damp weather ever leaves the Metro-Plex we may do a quick run up to Texoma or to Paris. Some of us may be going up to Eagles Canyon Raceway the 15th or the 16th. Others will be heading to San Antonio for an event with the brave warriors at Brooks Army Medical Unit. Stay tuned for the local activities. Welcome!

Greetings Mark,
If you're anxious to participate sooner than next month, Larry is correct. A hand full of members will be attending the CVAR races the 15th or 16th. I recommend the 15th due to 1/3 of the race cars don't make it to Sunday afternoon. If you drive the Cobra or any other muscle car, you get in free.
More info:
http://www.corinthianvintagerace.com...html#nextevent
Saturday afternoon last race is the "Blue Flag Special". Inverted delayed standing start based on previous lap times…..Just like bracket drag racing. Lots of nice burn outs . All the cars are spread out at the begining, then it's a mad dash at the end
Since I'm still not running because of the ticker , I'm tracking the Cobra as pace car for at least 1/2 of the races. Anybody want a ride? Preferably female, between 21 and 28 years of age, and a figure like an hour glass. That excludes you Larry, I said hour glass, not bong!!!

North Texas Locale?
Mark,
What part of town North Texas do you live?
Took the cobra out for a ride to the local package store around 3:00pm today, next thing you know, the clouds darkened up and the temp dropped 15 degrees. Got the car back under cover within about 45 minutes... thought I would take it easy on you all, so you could finish your yards before Mother's Day.
Long week in the production booth is concluded. Stay tuned for video from San Marcos details.
John

Nah, Mark, if you have an SPF, they're only $75. I'll PM you with an address where you can send your check.
Thanks and welcome aboard!

Hey Steve,
What word sounds like "cork" and starts with "D"? You're right! It's DORK! They should have called you "the Cruiser" instead.
See you at Eagles Canyon on Saturday.
Larry, aka: "Bong"?
PS: Mark, don't let this madness influence your first impressions of a great group of fun people. We hope to see you soon.
