Default August Houston Meet

Hi every one,

The first Saturday is coming up fast and in the interest of moving the meeting location to different parts of our big city, this months get together will be at the Sundance Grill in Seabrook @ 11am. This is a great location and be sure and bring your cameras because it is a great place to get pictures of your car!

Remember, this is a rain or shine event so if the weather is good, and you have one, bring your Cobra. Otherwise just show up in your daily driver.

Directions

Take I-45 South toward Galveston ,take the Nasa Road One exit. Go
eastbound on Nasa Rd. One ,[ there will be signs to Seabrook ] around
Clear Lake until you get to Hwy.
146. Turn right ,[ toward Kemah ] stay in right lane when you get to the
base of the bridge , turn right , at the stop sign turn right , you'll
be in Seabrook Shipyard. Go straight ahead ,cross the little bridge ,
turn left go to stop sign , turn right and you are there.

If you have any questions drop me a line.

Talking Saturday Meet in Seabrook

Dennis,

I was planning on coming even though I do not have a car as yet. But if no one else is coming with or without their cars, then there is no point in going is there!

Default Meet at Sundance Grill

Robyn and I are looking to be there - >50/50
chance. Only problem might be if I need to
move the car from the shop where it has been
held hostage for the last 3 months, although
the guy knows that I want to be at the meeting.
Regards.

Thumbs up

Dennis,
Even though I'm getting some blow-by on number 2 piston,
and will be installing a new improved super 331 stroker shortly,
I will be in Kemah.

Default Sundance meeting

The Sundance is almost in my back yard, if I had a big back yard.
Looks like the storm will hold off for a couple of days so you can count me in.

See all you guys with sun tan lotion in hand.

Default Lone cobra

Hey Steve

If that was your black cobra at the sundance a while back,
when there was suppose to be a metting, nice ride.

I saw it there, but I was driving the ol GMC, pre cobra.

Hope we can have a turn out like at the 59 diner, or better.
This time we all need to go crusin, you know 8-10 cobras thundering down the road.

See ya there.

Default Next Meeting

I live in the clear lake area and was wondering when the group is going to meet again. I am going to purchase a cobra soon and would like to get as much info as I can before I make the plunge.

By the way do you know anyone with a cobra for sale?

Gonzo - there are four TCC members in the Dallas area with Cobras for sale:

Drew Baird - 7 month old Superformance w/408 - mid $50's
Gary Sharpata - Superformance w/351 Paxton Superchager - high $40's.
B.J. Green - Red/White Classic Roadsters w/ 427 - mid $30's
Greg Sellers - Red/White Unique with Ernie Elliott stroker - lots of HP - don't remember current price.

You can e-mail anyone of them from:

http://texascobraclub.com/members.htm

All are listed on ClubCobra and CobraCountry and all are beautiful cars. I also saw a couple of Texas based Cobras on e-Bay over the weekend, but I think the auctions ended.

Default I would like to go!

Hi,

Russ suggested that I pop over here and introduce myself. He also mentioned the Saturday get together. I would like to come and see some of your cars. Russ said he is going to try and make it. I made him aware of the new location in Kemah and gave him your directions.

Although I am more interested in the GTM, I still would like to see what you gentlemen have worked so hard on.

Please let me know if I need to do or bring anything before showing up. I live just around the corner.

Thanks,
Brad
