Yes it is expensive, but so are Webers. I guess it boils down to what you want and can afford.

Default Twm Induction 351 Clevlend (stroked)

I have a Dax Cobra that is sixteen years old, with a 351 Clevland (stroked ) 2v closed chamber motor.Ten years ago I purchaced an induction kit from TWM with 4 50 mm twin barrel throttle bodies, complete with a formula 1 type air cleaner and matched it up with Motec M48. I had to have the manifold made, it is a flat two piece manifold. I tried a Redline manifold but was not happy with the porting from the factory, the ports were all out of sync. I am just writing to tell anyone who is interested that the TWM Induction system is fantastic. My problem has been getting an expert to tune the car , finally after all these years I have got it running beautifully. I have installed a roller cam and she flies, approx 500 hp at rear wheels. I connect the motor to a Tremec 5 speed box and a Centre Force clutch. If anyone has some tips to maximise the TWM system please let me know. Cheers Peo

Default Tuning TWM

I use FAST cpu and can usually find a technician close to do the tuning all over the US. Most cpu makers keep track of their approved techs. If anyone has a problem finding a tech, I will research it for you. Good to hear you've got yours performing well.

Does anyone have one of these set ups in the Phoenix, Arizona area on a stroked small block. I'd like to see if it is an advantage to usable power for in line acceleration.

Greg,

I have a stroked SBF with TWM setup from Keith Craft. Here is my shaft dyno sheet. I'm in the San Diego area let me know if you make it out his way.

Al,

Did you ever get the air filters you had a friend working on. If so would you post a picture for us.

Thanks.

Default filters

Ron, The filters I am using at present are the same screen/ filter used on weber carbs. We are going to be making a shorter throttle body that would allow the use of filters given the low hood clearance. We will be using a new shorter injector. At present the longer injectors govern the height of the throttle body.

I purchased these filters from Rousch ($260 for 8) they work great and as you can see they slip on around the horn (I understand this may not be ideal for max HP but it is no difference that I notice). They are no more then 3" above the horn height when installed...if you are real close I can take a better measurement.

Default Twm

I sure could use some help with my TWM. I am probably the first person who got one for a 460 back in 2002. I have NEVER been able to get it right. It seems to ALWAYS run rich (stinks like **** when idling). TWM set me up with 60lb injectors running at 60 psi. It pops alot, hesitates out of 1st gear and most every other gear for that matter.

My Cobra has pretty much sat in the garage for the last several years because I can't seem to get it right and there was no one who would help.

I am wondering if the 60lb injectors are too large. Also, is there ANYONE out there who knows how to tune this darn thing?

If you want to see a nice pic of my TWM system, you can go to the engine builders web site.. It is a pretty sweet set up.

Mohuska, Hi, send me an email with your phone number. thormotorsports1@msn.com What kind of computer are you using, I'll get someone to help you. It sound as if the throttle bodies are not in sync. I can tell you how to adjust them. I'll be around all weekend, you can call me from 8am to 11pm at 520-401-9142. Thanks, Al

Default TWM set up

Al,

Thanks for the response. I am going back to my engine builder next week. We are going to put in a more aggressive cam and change the Electromotive ECU to a FAST system.

Do you have any profile recommendations for a 522 ci and the TWM set up?

Mike
