Slight thread hijack, but has anyone tried the 3M shield along the rocker panels as well as over the front of the rear fender bulge?

Do a search for "spats" and you will find lots of comments on this and lots of other solutions. I was just doing this exact search myself.

I have the 3M shield on the front of my car and rear fenders. I've been pleased with how it has protected my car from chips.

Same here.

After 7K miles, my car still has a little road rash on the front where the 3m doesn't clear bra doesn't provide coverage. Keep meaning to do some touch up...or I'll just let the patina grow.

Thanks to the owners that gave Avon feedback. Would anyone comment on how well they hold air over periods of inactivity? And air gain/loss in track usage?

Although my G'years seem porous, many owners of those report no such problem. My Halibrands are not leaking as 4 sets of TD's held air very well.

ERA Chas .... I aired my Avons up several months ago and have only seen about a 1 psi change ... and thats probably from the temp changes . The car hasn`t been driven for the past 2 weeks ( rain ) and the pressure is still where I set it some months ago ... =/- 1 psi .
