Question from the UK

Ok chaps, I must have read every bit on the Goodyear Billboards and Blue streaks etc.

I am looking at some Billboards as they seem the best for every day use on the Cob.

Again over here there is the question is are they legal or not, not DOT approved, and again some garages say as long as they have the legal tread requirement they are ok.

However, it is mentioned that the side wall is some what thinner and suspect to pot hole and damage etc, BUT has anyone ever ripped the side wall out and damaged one badly when using them for normal every day Cobra driving. Not racing or track work, just your normal every day Sunday blat.

And the reason being apart from expensive they cost a s*it load to get delivered to the UK and then our wonderful Government want 17.5% on top of everything for tax.
