Default New 15" wheels.... What size MT Sportsman SRs

Just order the new Vintage Wheel HA02s for newer Backdraft cars and have decided to go with the MT Sportsman SRs. I'm going to go with a 26x10x15 in the front but I am torn between the 26x12x15 or the 28x12x15 for the rear.

My gut tells me the 26x12 rear would be the best choice but I want to make the right call. I'm afraid the 28x12s will be too tall . Oddly enough the Goodyear Billboards are 26.5x8x15 and 26.5x10x15.

What size are most running ?

.HA02 set of 4 15s BACKDRAFT specs : Vintage Wheels, Mustang, Hot Rod and Muscle Car

I'm running 26 x 10 front and 26 x 12 in the rear. No rubbing at all. These are on a FF Mark I. You will probably get wider for rear without to much worry. Check with other backdraft owners to be sure though. I will be replacing my SR's with ST's this year. Not disappointed just for the look and it is time for new tires.

I have the M/T Sportsman SRs. 26x10x15 on the fronts, 26x12x15 on the rear of my ERA 289FIA. Very pleased with them and just ordered new fronts today to replace a wobbly tire. My car is 8 years old, and I'm pretty sure the tires were originals, so I'm not at all concerned about the ply slippage. I'll be replacing the rear tires in a few months, only because of their age. I like the looks of the 26" tires on the rear and they don't jack the backend too high.

I had the 26x10 and 28x12 SR's on my SPF. Eventually sold them and put on the 255/60 front and 295/50 rear ST's. I liked the SR's but could never get the rear of the car lowered to the point that I wanted and felt that the 26x12's were a little shorter than I wanted. I've been happy with the ST's and even auto crossed with them once.
Trying to replicate the look of the Billboards with a radial tire will never be totally successful. The bias ply tire just has a different sidewall profile.

I have a new pair of 28 SRs that are surplus to my needs. I will sell them for $75.00 each less than the Summit price.
