Kevin - I am interested as I need to replace my 5 year old billboards.

As for sizes, I will go 295/50/15 for the rears but what is recommended for the front to replace the 26.5x8x15? 225’s or 245’s?

Thanks

Andy

That may depend on how much tire you have in the wheel well. I have my Cobra pretty low compared to other owners, so I don't need a taller tire. Do you have a 26" on yours now ? If you have (or you can buy) a soft/fiber measure tape like what sewers use, and measure the circumference of the tire. I looked for mine, but haven't found it, so I need another one. I'll find it latter. lol

I have 235/60/15 on my front and a 295/50/15 on the rear. I'd like a 60 side wall, but I don't see any tire in the AVON or the M/T SR listed. The possible size is a 27" or 28" for my rears.

My fronts are Goodyear Eagle Billboards 26.5x8x15, which according to SASCO’s website are 26.2” in diameter, with an 11” section width and 7.9” tread width. I have about 2” of clearance between the top of the tire and the centre of the front wheel arch. For comparison, SASCO measures the Avon 245/60/15’s at 26.7” in diameter with a 9.9” section width and 8.7” tread width - my best guess is that they should fit ok.
