I also dropped from 275/40 fronts to 255/40's. Huge improvement in front end handling. First the 275 rubbed the frame at full lock. Backing out of drive and doing U-turns you could smell the rubber burning from the contact. No need for that much rubber on the front of this light car. OVERKILL. Enzo Ferrari said anything bigger than 225's in front just slows you down.

The 255 are way lighter up front and you can feel it. A lot less resistance turning the wheel at slower speeds. Very happy with the down sizing in front.

Rears I went from Mich PSS 335's 35- 17 to 315/35/17's. Not as beefy looking but way more hook up which I was looking for.

I do miss the ability to roast them at will in any gear. The harder Mich's did slide and drift nicely, but I would rather have the hook up. Very happy how she is coming together.

I just put on a new set of Nitto's, 255 front and 320 rear, drives real nice and fits my 17 inch rims and the body lines of my Lonestar
