If you follow the link I posted earlier ( https://www.artstation.com/marketpla...-world-details ) you'll see the UTQG is 80AB.

OK, so I had a chance to connect with Brandon again to bring up the responses you all gave and this is what he and Roger said.

They thought that the wet driving concerns were not that big of an issue, and that, while the performance would go down in the wet, they should be able to get you home safely. Also, they asked, "How many of you drive your Cobras in the rain? I would guess not very many!" I asked, and they are able to be cut for better water shedding if desired. Additionally, I asked if the tread design already was cast in stone, and he seemed to think it was.

They indicated that they are being made in Europe.

They are radials with an 80 tread wear rating. There are 5 sizes planned, currently:

185/70VR15
215/60VR15
225/60VR15
245/60VR15
295/50VR15

He said to look at the Avon table for the other specs, as they are made to the same specifications.

What other info do we need?

What other thoughts/comments do you have?

As to the planned sizes, a larger tire for the rear would be nice. Maybe a 305/50R15 or 315/50R15. The 295/50R15 looks great from the side, but a slightly wider tire would fill the fenders on a CSX better.

Also, where in Europe for production?

Looking forward to more info on these tires as it becomes available.

Thanks.

I will see what I can find out regarding both points of your query...

I think I recall hearing that Avon/Nova is moving production to Portugal.
