I'm thinking magnesium is magnesium, period. I'd compare having magnesium wheels with dealling with painted side pipes - a continual hassle to maintain. Now, I'll stay with my wheels until something happens down the road - I'm just saying that magnesium as a material is a hassle to maintain - just a warning to those that don't like to spend time doing that chore.
And yes, they are really light.
