The Tire Rack carries them, but are waiting for BF to produce more. Goodrich keeps moving the production date back. Got that from a guy at the Tire Rack in an email when I wanted 2 of that size back in the beginning of March.

The latest BF Goodrich production date is March 2009 per Belle Tire's VP of Purchasing.
I've been looking with no luck

FWIW, if you are looking for tires for a Cobra, do a search on here first. Many people (including myself) were not happy with BFGs on a Cobra. There are a lot of other alternatives in that size.

Stay away from BFG's...not that the tire is bad it's just that they isn't suited for a Cobra. Dunlops and Yohohamas are some good soft bound street tires at a comparable price and size

I like the Yokohama's on my SPF, but they are no longer being manufactured. Use the search and you'll find more info (and opinions) regarding tires.
Avons ($$$$), Mickey Thompson street radials, Dunlop, and GY Billboards seem to be the main tires used in the 15" category.

I couldn't wait to get them dam BFG ta's off my cobra, hard as a rock, spin out with very little throttle and slip like crazy when you get caught in the rain. Firestone 500's are great, soft and grip good, haven't been caught in the rain with them yet but, no way there as bad as the BFG's.......IMO

The Firestone store in Santa Cruz CA has two Firehawk 295/50-15's that I know they'd love to sell.
They ordered two for me, and the other store sent them four...
Probably still there.
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's look great on a Cobra. Better overall reviews than Goodyear or BF Goodrich on Tirerack.com.

BFG's are junk. Just about any other tire in that size would be better.

I have no complaints with mine. It seems that the VAST MAJORITY run them. |

I had a set of the T/As, but now I am running round tires (Yokos), quite an improvement!

It seems getting round tires is just the luck of the draw. The GY BB's I got were way worse than than the BFG's I replaced. That is roundness I am talking about. The GY BB's stick great. The GY BB's all look like blems cosmetically.

This has been discussed several times befor. BFG/TA's are only good for classic cars, low HP cars, and old guys that just put around.. :)

Sure the vast majority run them, proof positive you need to lead not follow!

TA's, impossible to hook up. Hard, useless if there's any power involved. MT's are much better. A friend of mine has billboards and is very happy with them.

You must have a small block car that weighs a lot. ;)
Just kiddin ya. The problem with T/A's is they are so hard that they only provide traction on a heavy, low HP car. I had them on my car to begin with as a way to remind me when not to stick my foot in it. With the T/A's I couldn't get 3rd gear to hook up when I stuck my foot to the floor much less 1st or 2nd. Now I have the Billboards and don't think I could spin the tires in 3rd if I was trying. |

I guess I should have qualified my statement that this is on a street driven car, as most are. Of course nobody runs T/A's on the track. I don't get any traction with them either but I don't drive like that "on the street". Sticky tires are great on the street if you don't mind blasting the paint of the sides of your car. |

hehehe... I don't have any paint. My car is naked.
Even in mild street driving they are horrible. What happens when some idiot cuts you off and you have to "Panic Brake"? The BFG's offer no control and just slide.
