I also have no complaints concerning my Trigo wheels. My only question here would be, why not consider PS (Phil Schmidt) wheels?

I have never had any issues with either the 6 pin Trigos on my CSX, or the 5 pin with hub adapters Trigos on my FFR. Kirkham and Shelby have both used Trigos for many years on their new cars.

I have heard great things about Vintage wheels, and for the price I'd probably buy a set of those if I were currently in the market.

Even the reverse sides of my Vintage wheels show commendable quality. I looked closely at Trigo and Vintage wheels side-by-side at ERA last year without knowing which was which. The quality and finish that looked best to me turned out to be the Vintage (in all honesty, I must say that the Trigos looked pretty good, too). The excellent customer service I received from Vintage was "the icing on the cake."

Bob in Conn , when I picked up my car , they told my they coated the inside my trigo's with paint as a precaution . I have not had any problems in 8 yrs . I guess you probably did this though .

The service from Vintage Wheels US is outstanding. I get a lot of complements on my wheels, and my Cobra hasn't even made it out of the garage---yet.

See my other post on Vintage Wheels US for more details. Rarely do I take the time to post for a MFG, but their service and product was so outstanding I had to get the word out.

During my wheel research, I had called Trigo but got no response.

Vintage Wheels US is the way to go.

I wanted to get a set of vintage pin-drive replica halibrands,(because i like bob and he said they could have them polished for me).but when i went to order them recently,he told me he couldn't get the exact halibrand replicas right now, because somebody had bought-out the company that produces them and he didn't know when they were going to become available again.he e-mailed me pictures of another halibrand 15"replica wheel that he had in stock,(that came polished),but it only has 5 spokes and the outer part of the rim is different,so i went with trigos. P.s.-does anybody know of a good guy for polishing aluminum,i.e.-wheels,intake manifolds, etc. ?

Default Vintage vs.trigo wheels

Here's an update guys:i had already ordered a set of 15"trigo pin-drive/knock-offs for my superformance,(#1440),then i read all the reviews/comparisons on this site and i said to myself:call bob one more time. Good ole bob lacey came through for me.he got me a set of halibrand-repro 15"pin-drive knock-offs,(and he's having them polished for me)! I called back trigo and cancelled my order.(i told him i was willing to pay the shipping charges, since they had already been shipped to the east coast, because i understand:business is business)! But just to let you guys know, availability on these wheels may be spotty for a while,(call bob for details).but he came through for me,(great guy).call him if you're looking for 15"re-pro pin-drive halibrand knock-off replicas,(he is thee man)!!!
