Sorry guys, I will call and get mine ordered tomorrow.
|
I'll talk with them tomorrow but, he should have enough orders if,... all of you that agreed to buy, did indeed buy. I believe I sent all of you a PM with the contact information. There should be at least 9 of us.

Ordered mine last week:)
|
I confirmed my order this morning. Jerry said I was the 5th. Wheels today, tires soon, sanding and painting for the next two or three weeks. Looks like this Cobra thing could actually happen.

Tire Buy
Hi Funfer2,
Is it too late to get into the Billboard deal? I just found out it's almost impossible to get replacements for my Coopers (315-35-15). How can I contact the dealer? Thanks, Ralph |
Anyone got their tires yet? If so, let's see 'em!
-Greg |
Got mine today!! Funny story, I called the speed shop to see if they were in and the guy told me that UPS was unloading them right that second. lol **)
I took some pic's, click on my name and check 'em out. Thanks again funfer for setting all this up. Cheers, Chris :):):):):):):):):):):):):) |

Yep, same crappy paint on the tires as mine. ;)
Actually I like them that way. It adds character to the car. Now go get them mounted and go for a ride.:D |

LOL. Yep, when I came home and showed the wife the pics, the first thing she said was "what two year old painted on the tires" I said almost exactly what you said, "thats the way their supposed to look" Anyway, I should have them mounted hopefully by next week or the week following. still waiting for the weather to break here on the north coast of Ohio. Cheers, Chris |
Damn this recession! Damn AIG! Damn Mickey Thompson for making a drag radial that won't wear out fast enough! :D

Mine arrived yesterday. Thee so cool.
I asked my wife about the paint, she said. PAINT THEM ! hehe! I also got the ranger paint, and have questions. Since I'm PAINTING THEM,....I assume I should mount them first before painting but, will the paint crack if it's stretched onto the wheel ? Ranger said if there's any contaminate, like oil, gas, tire dressing ect., it won't stick. I'm concerned about the exhaust/oil, getting on the rear tires and even after cleaning them, the paint not sticking ? |
Kevin, good 'ol lacquer thinner should clean up/degrease the sidewalls without deteriorating the integrity of the rubber. Just pour a little on a rag and wipe...don't pour it on the tire directly. I would recommend mounting the tires first before painting. Go to an artist supply/crafts house and buy some wide, short-bristled brushes.
Then lay a blanket on the carpet in front of the TV, turn on an NCAA tournament game, and start painting one at a time. The Ranger paint needs at least 2 coats for good coverage. -Dean |
Sounds like a great plan Dean.

Getting the white part white has been discussed alot. What's best to get the black part black?
-Greg |
So, has anyone gone for a ride yet?
