Default Tulsa Cobras

Hello Tulsa AC Cobra Car owners
My son and I will be in Tulsa over Thanks Giving for the US BMX nationals and I was wondering if there would be an opportunity to meet some AC Cobra Car owners and their cars while we were in town.
Thanks
Bruce

I would love to meet some of you but unfortunately, I will also be out of town most of the week. Another time I hope?

I'm in Claremore, I hang out with a group of about 12 folks, all makes and models. We do have a few with Cobras join in with us sometimes. I also belong to the local car club in Claremore (Rt. 66 Cruisers), two guys (not counting me) with Cobras in the club too.

We usually do some local car shows, cruise-ins and a good amount of cruising during the warmer months. Send me a pm with your e-mail address if you'd like to hang out with us sometime.

This weekend is supposed to be nice, are you getting your Cobra out for a drive?

Randy

Hi Randy
We arrive in Tulsa Thursday 22nd and stay until Sunday 25th. My son is racing so we will need to check times before we know if we can take time off.
Cheers Bruce

Juggernaut

I'd love to but I am struggling a little with the clutch. Had troubles getting it in first and 2nd gear, seemed that the clutch wasn't completely releasing. Now I am trying to add transmission fluid to this damn little reservoir. Struggle!

Bruce,
I live in tulsa and will be here all weekend. I don't know the other Cobra guys since I just got my Gentry Cobra in September.

Alright, fixed the clutch - not bad for a total noob! I will definitely take it out for a spin now.

By the way, does anyone know where to get the 93 octane gas around here? Or toluene, if there is no 93 gas?

So nobody uses 93 octane then? What do you use instead, the racing gas bottles that you can buy in the stores to spike the 91 gas?

No 93 octane around here. My motor runs OK on 91. If you must get it higher I'm not real familiar with any good octane boosters. Grand Prix and Car and Fleet sell race gas you could dilute. Its probably $7-9 bucks a gallon though. Haven't bought any in a while. Make sure you specify leaded or non if you get some.
