I'll be there about 9:30 - 10:00 in the Cobra.

Paul, you're not bringing the Cobra???? What's up with that!!

Marty won't have his Mustang there, still needs a tranny. I guess he'll be riding over in the Cobra with me though.

Wayne told me last week if he gets the overheating problem fixed he'll have his there too. I'll call him today to see if it's fixed. Not sure about Eric, he'll be getting back from a trip Saturday morning, he said he'll try to stop by sometime in the afternoon. Clois said he might stop by if he gets the gremlins worked out of his Cobra. Not sure about the other members of the club.

Looking forward to meeting you. Gonna be a hot one, guess we'll have to go in the casino for some adult beverages!

Sounds great!

Love to bring the Cobra, but since this is an official BMMC event and we have new members attending and all, I need to drive the Stang.

Speaking of show's, would you or one of your Member's be interested in Judging the Ford's in the Skiatook Fantasy on Wheels in September?
Marty.

Might be able to do that. Haven't heard of that event yet. Give me details... date and how many judges you need and I see what I can drum up.

I'll bring you information to contact Sharon tomorrow at the car Show. She can fill you in.
It'll be held on September 20,2008. Skiatook's Pioneer Day.

Marty.

It was a great show.
Did you happen to get a shot of that Black 1971 HEMI 'Cuda? Imagine seeing "THAT" in your rear view mirror!
Marty.

Had a great time yesterday even with the heat, good to meet you Paul, nice Mustang! Maybe next time we'll see the Cobra!

Great show, 201 cars, not bad for their 1st. car show!

It was a shame that the only two Cobra's there were Eric's & mine.

You guys mean this blown hemi Cuda??

Guys:
Thanks for posting the pictures from the Claremore event. I would have liked to attend it, but was out of town at a friends wedding. It was a true "fairy tale" wedding at the Disneyland resort, complete with the Cinderella horse drawn carriage! (My wife and I also celebrated our 34th anniversary on 8/2).

With lots of help from Clois, my buddy Tom, Bob Beasley, and others, I'm starting to enjoy driving a few miles in my Cobra. I'm not so worried about "what is that rattle?", and "why does the engine make that kind of sound?" questions and enjoying the positive nods and thumbs up from passers by.

One last question about the Claremore show: Did anybody get any good pictures of the balloon races? It would have been great to get a picture of a Cobra by one of their baskets.

The wedding sounds like it was great! Congratulations on your 34th., too!

Glad to hear the Cobra is on the road & you're enjoying it. Why don't you bring it to the IHOP in Owasso this Saturday night about 6:00 for a cruise-in, I'll be there in mine.

The balloons take off about 7:30 am & are out all day, they return late in the afternoon after the car show. Would've made a great picture though.

Randy

They we're gone. I didn't see one all day. I think they floated north for the cooler weather. LOL.

I might try to make the Saturday Cruise-in. And yes Randy... I'll be in the Cobra.

Randy... I updated the seat pics. Take a look. If nobody wants to trade, you have first dibs.
