Default Saturday Night Cruise-In - Owasso

There's been a group of people meeting at the IHOP in Owasso on Saturday nights about 6:00. This is a new gathering & they're trying to get the word out.

I'll be going this Saturday night, anybody else interested? Be nice to have a good Cobra showing!

C'mon guys, the summer's half over & we still haven't all gotten together.

Hope to see you there.

Randy

I'm still planning to attend. However, I'm doing my rear drum to disc conversion during the day on Saturday. We'll see how that progresses...

Just heard from Wayne, he'll be there Saturday with his Cobra.

So far, we have 3 definite's and 4 maybe's.

Any other takers?

Good deal, Clois. Looks like 5 definites & 4 maybe's. I talked to Daren Tuesday & he said he might be able to make it. Marty will be there, hopefully he'll bring his Mustang, he's putting a new T-5 in it today. If the Mustang doesn't make it, he'll be riding with me.

Randy:
Rats! I've got an out-of-town family thing to go to on Saturday. Are any of you guys planning on participating in the Jenks Show on Aug. 16? It is at the Aquarium in Jenks from 3pm to 8pm.

Bob, sorry you can't make it Saturday.

Not sure if I'll be attending the Jenks show, I'll let you know.

Paul, if the Cobra isn't finished, will you be showing up with the Mustang?

I understand a new Roush Mustang will probably be there Saturday, friend of Marty's.

Ray has a Roush Sport. I'm unsure of the year.
He's contacting a guy that has a Roush "Black Jack" and a Roush "P-51." If he show's, I hope he brings the P-51.

Marty.

Didn't know there were different Roush Mustangs.

Learn something new every day, even me!

Yep. I'll bring one or the other. Hopefully the Cobra if it's done.

Sounds good Paul. Looks like we just might have a pretty good turnout of club members. If we actually do, I'd like to get a picture of all our cars.

I know, I just heard the weather forecast for tomorrow. Crap, we finally have a chance to get some of the group together & we'll probably be rained out.

If we're rained out tomorrow, maybe try it again next Saturday?

It's not looking good, but we'll have to see.

Next week is the Jenks show... We could do that. I was planning on it.

Needless to say, it looks a rain out today.

Supposed to rain all day tomorrow too, guess the Cobra will stay in the garage all weekend.

How about next Saturday night? There's also the Jenks car show down at the aquarium. For those who aren't into car shows how about trying the Owasso Cruise Night next Saturday, I think I will.

Let me know if anybody's interested in either one.

Randy

Looks clear right now but more moving in from the west...

How about we do the jenks show next weekend and then do a cruise after?! I love summer night cruising.

Now about the brake conversion.... Well... Had it all apart and axles out... Turns out the guy beef up the rear end. It has 31 spline axles and the setup I got was 28 spline. Nice that they upgraded, but needless to say I still have drums on the back...

My Mustang disc set up will go up for sale and I'm just going to get the wilwood disc conversion.
