Assuming we are in between rain storms, anyone going to be at the IHOP this coming Saturday?

Hey Bob,

Yep, we'll be there. I'll get there between 5 & 5:30. Should be the normal crowd, we went there twice so far this season with good turn outs.

Since you came the last time, we've had a few new Cobra's come out. There also seems to be more & more people coming every week.

Come on out, if you see my Cobra but not me, I'll be in IHOP grabbing a bite to eat, stick around or come on in!

If anybody else from TACC can make it, come on out.

We're also planning on attending the Kruizin for Kids Car Show in Owasso May 2nd., usually a good show!

Hope to see ya Saturday.

Randy

Bob, good to see you & your wife again today at IHOP! That's one nice Cobra you have there too.

wideglidejoe, good to meet you tonight, sounds like you have some nice projects going, time to build a shop, right?

Owasso Car Crazies:
The dreary rainy day today, was in sharp contrast to the beautiful day yesterday. We were on the road 3-4 hours driving back roads to Muskogee, Beggs, Kifer, and on up to Owasso to visit with everyone at the IHOP. The "erratic" issue (no not me, the coolant temp!) appears to be gone. By the end of the day, I had sunburned arms and a big grin on my face.

It was great fun to see everyone yesterday. I hope to get back up there soon.

Hey, it was good to put some faces with names/forum handles on Sat. I really enjoyed meeting everyone. Long discussions about Cobra's with several of you! Lot's of other nice cars too! I'll get up there again soon, bring family next time. And, I'll keep plugging along in my garage, trying to get to go-cart stage.

Randy, Bob, Chris, and others (I'm terrible at names, forgive me!), good to meet you all.

take care,
Joe

Yep, these cars have a habit of putting grins on our faces. A ten minute drive to the local convenience store usually takes me about 45 minutes, not sure why.........

Same here Joe. Had a good time Saturday. I just heard from a guy out in my neck of the woods that hopes to have his FFR finished in about 2-3 weeks. He'll probably be at IHOP with his new Cobra to participate in those Cobra discussions.

Feel free to stop by, if it's a nice Saturday, we'll all be there.

Good luck with your build!

Wishin I could join you guys, the house is going on the market in May. The build is moving right along, it's now a roller, the brakes and electrical are next, got some dimensions from a couple guys who have Hurricane Replicas and met with some F5R guys at Autorama in Detroit in March and they were big helps with some questions I had. I am hoping to get a body by fall so maybe in spring of 2010 I can drive the Cobra in your area. Carl

Carl:
Thanks for checking in with us and letting us know how you (and your scratch build!) are doing. There is a lot of talented folks here (not me) that really know practical solutions to just about any issue you can run into. Looking forward to meeting you when you move to the area.

Bob

Good to hear from you Carl. Sounds & looks like your build is coming along rather nicely.

I won't be going to the London event, too many other commitments around here.

It's always a bonus when a spouse suggests going to car events!

The cruise at IHOP has grown a little since you were there. Slowly but surely, its attracting more people and more cars.

Good luck selling your house, looking forward to hooking up with you when you move down this way.

Randy
