Pioneer Days - Skiatook - 9/20/08

Skiatook's Pioneer Days will be held on September 20th.. Lots of things for the whole family to do. Google Pioneer Days Skiatook for more info.


Parade starts at 9:00 and the car show at 10:00.

If you would like to participate in the Skiatook Pioneer Days Parade. You should have your Car at the "OLD" Wal-Mart parking on lot on Rt 20 at 8:00 am. for the line up. The parade will start at 9:00 am.
The Cars will return to the Wal-Mart parking lot after the Parade for Registration ($25) for the Car Show. The Show will be from 11 am to 3 pm.

Thanks for the info Marty. I'll be there at 8:00 am, looking forward to it! I guess Debbie will be bringing her Dad's Mark Martin / Roush F150.

Finally a show that's over early in the afternoon! How about a cruise afterwards?

Car Show update.

Apparently the News Paper I used had some wrong information. Go figure.

If you plan to have your Car in the Pioneer Days Parade,meet at the Skiatook High School Parking lot a little before 9:00 am. The parade will start at 9:00am. The Cars will head the Parade.
The High School is a left just pass the Kum and Go Gas Station on Rt 20/Rogers BLVD. Look for the High School Marquee. The High School will be right in front of you.

You may register your Car before or after the the Parade. The Car Show will be at the Old Wal-Mart parking lot. There is a KIT CAR class for the Cobras. Free lunch for all Car entry's. A Lunch ticket will be given to you when you register. There will be a rain date. October 4,2008. Contact number is 396-3702.
They still need a Ford judge. If your interested call the contact number and ask for Sharon.
It looks to be a good one. There's already 25 pre entry's at this point,not including the TACC guy's. Let's hope we have a good day for it. I'm all rained out!

I haven't seen or heard from Micky and his Cobra. I'm sure we'll see him there at least in person. Although he has no reason not to have his Cobra there. If anything,all he has to do is kick it in neutral and coast down the hill and into the parking lot.
Ray and his Roush will be there. He plans to be at the IHOP Saturday if the weather holds out.

I'm sure the rain will keep us from making IHOP tomorrow night. Glad Ray can make it. I heard from Paul, he'll be at a classic Mustang show that day with the BMMC but he wants to get together at IHOP whenever the rain moves out.

I wonder if BF from Claremore is going to the Skiatook show? I think Frank from the Claremore show will be there to get some ideas for his build. Maybe he'll even have his FFR kit in his garage by then.

I was snooping around on your Web Site. One of the choice's is incorrect on the Poll for the Car Show. It's Skiatook not Bartlesville. It may or may not make a differance, but just in case..... I don't want you guy's to show up in Bartlesville in case you decide against the Green Country Show.

When I talked to Sharon, as of last Friday, they still needed a Ford Judge.

I do believe your car can be shown, but not Judged. Of coarse Sharon would be the one to confirm that. Regardless, if you come up with something, great, if not......we'll have fun anyway!
I'm looking forward to it and the IHOP photo op. It'll be a full day.
