Default Grand Lake / Disney Cruise - July 25th.

Getting a cruise together to the Grand Lake area July 25th.. Looks like they'll be five of us going so far. Of course, spouses are invited.

We're thinking about having breakfast in Claremore about 8:30, then heading up to the lake & see what we can get into.

We plan on using all back roads, no major highways. We hope to be back around 2:00.

Still in the planning stages, but is anybody else interested?

Randy

Sure would like to meet up with you all if you don't mind an outsider joining in. Live here in Grove and could meet everyone in Claremore very easily, always open for any excuse to drive! Keep me posted please. Cheers, Bob

My wife and I had a great time on this cruise last year and would love to do it again but we have other commitments that weekend.

Looks like five (and spouses) are definitely going so far with three more possibles.

If anyone else can make it, we'll be leaving from the Sinclair gas station across from the Cherokee Casino on Highway 20 just east of Claremore. We plan on hitting the road at 9:30 am, taking all back roads up to the lake, have some lunch, see what we can get into and plan to be back about 2 or 3:00.

Looks like the weather is going to be nice.

Randy

Had a great time on the cruise yesterday, 10 great friends, four Cobra's, one Chevy Street Rod and a Rousch Mark Martin F150 Truck made for a good day!

Weather was good, a few sprinkles on the way home but that was it. Had a blast on those back roads, full of turns, hills & nice scenery. Man, did we get some attention passing through those very small towns, even had the local Law Enforcement officers waving to us.

Can't wait for the next run, hopefully next month.

Randy
