T-56's have midplates that can interchange between transmissions.
The Magnum T-56 is actually offered by Tremec. There are other companies that sell them, including me. They are offered in a Ford version, only for modular engines at this point I believe.
You can also upgrade a Viper T-56 (they're a higher spec T-56) and these transmissions will hold 700-750 lb-ft with just a few minor upgrades.
The clutches are nothing special, you just use a 1-1/8x26 clutch like a TKO 600.
I have a Viper spec T-56 here that I can modify and send out for use with a SBF. It would not be new, but would be rebuilt.
