I changed the fluid (Redline MTL) in my Tremec after about a total of 20,000 miles, of which were at least 100, 1/4 mile drag passes and at least 1,500 miles on 4 different road courses, still looked like new!!!!!!!!!!! car is a 3100 pound 65 Fastback.......

Put in the GM recommend stuff cause I got it at cost at the local dealer, can't tell any difference in the 2 fluids........

In my race car, I change the fluid in the trans. (toploader) and the 9" rear once a race season.......five or six years now and no problems with either of them.........
