Question C6 tranny shift points

I put a early model C6 tranny in my Cobra. Of course we took it apart ugradeed nearly everything. I am not very knowledgable about automatic transmissions. So help me out. The transmission shifts at 4000 RPM even under heavy load. How can I get it to shift at 6000 RPM.

Some of the other guy's will know a lot more about this than I do but it seems to me that a guy here had a modulator kit or something installed to make his C-6 shift at the RPM he wanted. I am just not sure as I don't have one. You might try calling your local transmission shop or one that builds them for racers.

One solution is to put a manual valve body in it. That way when you put it in first, second or whatever, it WILL stay there until YOU shift it.
