Default Anyone local with a Race Deck modular flooring system in their garage?

I'd like to see a garage floor in person if possible before pulling the trigger - see how noisy, sturdy, owner-experience/opinion, etc.

Those not familiar, www.racedeck.com. If you have other brands, I might be interested in checking them out as well. I'm in the Philly suburbs...

I personally ended up buying swiss trax. Race deck makes a good product but Swiss trax had a couple of features I liked better plus i wanted to put the cobra logo in my floor and only Swiss trax is authorized(meaning they paid the money) for Shelby to let them use the logo. Both have tons of colors to choose from. I chose the open track design and love it. it always looks clean as dust/dirt fall betwen teh open channels but they are narrow enough to catch screws/nails and channels underneath let me hose out the garage without worrying about water getting trapped under the floor. It ended up being the same cast as epoxy and it looks better in my opinion.

Not sure how they work but what happens if you spill oil, does it go through to the floor and do you have to take the floor apart to clean up the residue?

Yes if you spill you take up a couple of sections of the floor, wipe it up and snap it back inplace

Kevin, What's the cost on the flooring per square foot.

Hello Jim,

You can email me for photo's and call me anytime for more information.

cobrakev@galaxycable.net
402-781-2322

30% off retail.

$4.95/SF any tile any color, recycled poly propylene product line $3.95/SF; your price $3.49/SF any tile any color and $2.79/SF recycled…edges retail $3/each for 15 ¾” tile and $2/each 13” tile; your price $2/each 15 ¾” and each 13” edge.

My sales woman says she has the recycled tiles in her garage. These are from the end of a batch and the color may not be exactly the same. Just like buying wall paper from a different batch or as I know being a auto body man, paint is the same way. If a slight color difference would not matter to you, you'll even get a better price. There is nothing wrong with the tile, other than this little color variance and only you may notice.

You can even order custom logo's. They are laser cut and laid in the tile. They have a "COBRA" logo and I will definitely order one. The price is cheap but, I don't recall what it is but will find out Monday. I also asked if lettering, like your name, business, car type or brand, ect... is something we can do and she will check into it. I replied that if we could come up with one "font", that would be cheaper for all of us and the company. I will be very happy if I/we could get, "427 SHELBY COBRA", or the like.

15 year warranty and not pro-rated.

I've got the Race Deck floor. It is very durable but I don't know how you'd replace a piece in the middle of the floor if it got damaged.

I bought mine at a Good Guys car show at a discount price.

I've received samples from both companies as well as the info you sent me. I'm still convinced Race Deck is a better product and the one I'll probably go with.
