Default Lime Rock -- Labor Day Weekend

Anyone attending any of the events at Lime Rock over labor day weekend.

I know that on Sunday it is primarily the car show with a Shelby theme.

I am looking to be there on Sunday and Monday.

I am trying to arrange my call schedule now so I can go Sunday and Monday. The Sunday show is really more than just a Shelby theme. Like prior years, Show of Shelbys is around Big Bend but lined up on the whole front straight is a Concours type event. If prior years are any indication, it should be great. Last year the weather did not cooperate so my Cobra stayed home on Sunday. The vintage racing is also excellent.

I'll be there Sunday if the weather is dry, Monday any weather.

Anyone want to caravan up there? There are some great roads!

For those of you who have attended in the past -
is it worth going for the Saturday/Sunday?

It fits my schedule much better than being there on the Monday, but I noticed the admission price (from the Lime Rock web site) shows $15.00 Saturday, $5.00 Sunday, and $25.00 Monday. How come?

thanks, luke-44

Luke,

Different prices for different races.

Saturday they have 10 lap races and it is more prep time for the cars.

Sunday is just a show. Lime Rock can not race on Sunday due to restrictions.

Monday are the feature races where they actually get the cars being a bit more competitive as compared to just for show laps. I think races are 15 laps each.

Link below will provide better info.

As Bob states -- part of the great day at Lime Rock can be the roads getting to the place. Really nice setting. Open access to almost every spot in the facility. Certainly open access to the cars and people working on them if you want to ask questions.

Just figures. I arrange my call schedule by giving up multiple future weekends to have this one off and they predict rain. I am beginning to think someone doen't like me.

I am hearing scattered thunderstroms. Which is better than straight rain.

Will be up there on Sunday anyway. Last year it rained where I was but I heard it turned inot a nice day at Lime Rock.

If any of you are the you can find me by looking for a baby carriage and good looking women next to me on Sunday.

J,

Could you clarify. ?You used the pleural women not singular woman. I'm jealous if there is more than one.
