Moved to Bill Karn's garage in Montclair so we can use his 4 post lift to make things go smoother. I cannot thank Bill enough for his generous contribution to this effort. So, with that said, If anyone can help me load the car in to my trailer on Friday, drop me an email and let me know.
Sincerely,
Bill S.

Bill-
I'd much rather help you than go to work, but unfortunately work it is. Good luck. Everyone should have a 4 poster.

Bill, I'd love to help you and bring all my Ford tools, but I'm having my own "let's replace steve's valve train" party.

Bill,
It looks like I might have an appointment in the morning but should be free by noon.

Mike,
I've got a few people coming to Bill Karn's house. You want to show up, you can reach us on my cell phone in the AM, or Bill K via his email for better directions...........

Bill,
I went to one of those install engine in Cobra parties at JM's a few years ago. A couple of "experts" showed up later in the day and convinced JM that the engine had to be relocated because they could not figure out the motor mounts. I left. Heard they relocated the engine and had to make a new driveshaft. I'll never go to a repair party again. I'll give a hand to anybody but repair parties are a waste of good beer.

Roger,
I'll respectfully disagree that this repair party was a waste of time. We got an awful lot accomplished with the car. While we did not get it running, we did eliminate quite a bit of what could be the cause, saving me at least a weeks worth of diagnostics...........I would recommend having friends over to help any time. Without another set of eyes and ears, some things would never get done on time.
Bill S.
PS: The trick is to feed them after most of the work gets done..............

Yeah plus for the newbies, this was a great learning experience to see hands on what the car, frame, suspension and the like are all about.
I had a great time and would love to help out again

Plus let's not forget that MrM only had one good arm. Without the party, who would have done the work
