Default Tuesday night cruise

Alright folks, short notice, but seeing that most of us have had a tough time getting together at the usual Tuesday night cruise, let's see if we can take over and fill in the entire back row with Cobras (ok, one Corvette Grand Sport in the middle will do) and blow everyones mind ...

Just my warped twisted two cents worth on this particular subject.........

Yours in Fords,

Bill S.

PS: This would be at the Wendy's on route 46 in Denville, NJ.........

Chime in if your planning to attend.........

Bill

Spoke to Bill K yesterday and he said that he and Tom Daviet would come to Wendys if we all planned on getting together. I'll call tomorrow and confirm it with him.

How about it Roscoe??? You coming??

Anybody want to call Tom Raddin or Tommy Horn? Who else? I'll bet we could fill in the entire back row with Cobras and a'hem a Grand Sport Corvette!!! That would really look sharp.

Anybody need directions let us know ASAP. This is the Wendys in Denville right off Rte 80.

I'll be there. I'll speak to Tom Raddin. He'll probably come also.

Maybe we can talk about our next adventure??

See ya,

What a great turnout. I spoke with John Olsen (FFR w/427) Thursday night at Wayne and he said he would come up this Tues night. Let's try to do it again and get a few more snakes up there.

This coming Tues PM is doubtful for me.

Also I know that Bill K will be out of town that day.

Well we had 6 Cobra over at Wendys. Even Bill S. showed up with his 'impressive' finger. Still say you should have summarily shot the cat.

We discussed a group trip to New Hope,PA for the 11th of Aug (wives and girlfriends included). Turns out there is a really big auto show there.

Anyone interested?

Advise,
Roscoe

I could be wrong about this but I vaguely recall hearing years ago that replicas were not invited to the New Hope Show. Better check on your status if you think you are going to be entering this high brow show. If you are going as simply as a spectator than that is not an issue.

Sounds boring to me. I think I'll keep my car "showing" limited to the two hour cruise nights.

Tim,
You may be right. I emailed them and never got an answer. Well freek them! Most of them haven't even changed the plugs in their 'trophies'.

Roscoe, Sorry to hear that..! Replicas should be invited too. I hope you still show up. I would like to see your car and I bet others would too.

Tim, If car show sound boring to you I don't think your going to the right places. Ya, I too like driving my car more then showing it but its nice to talk to people about there love for cars and showing/seeing all the hard work.

I posted a Topic about a event in the Poconos Sept 7, 8, and 9th La Corsa Delle Automobili Italiane - It is a Show and Go type of a event.

FYI There is indoor parking too..!

Mark,
Most guys are satisfied with the show scene but a few of us would rather drive open track with a set of open pipes at 125+ , now that is a real show.

OK, so who's going up to Denville tomorrow?

I plan on leaving a bit early, work permitting, and stopping up to visit Bill and Bruce at the Speed Shop.

Roscoe,

FYI: The last time I was at New Hope was 2 or 3 years ago. There was an ERA there but it was the only replica I recall. Nice car, you may have seen it around, Ferrari yellow. I think it has since been sold as I'm sure it was on Cobra Country for a while. Anyway there were replicas at one time.

Why don't you guys head south one of these times. I'd like to meet you all.

Jack
