Don I have been in the muffler business for 30 years. I had mentioned this system being available to another member. It looks great, I would like to see more pics from beginning to end.

The two rear stainless stell tips will be in the body just under the trunk across the two stripes.

Really nice Don! Should I be adding that exhaust as an EVO 5 option? Bet it works on an FFR too . You never cease to amaze us. Talk to you in the morning.

It does look great. Sort of a Corvette center exit. Do you have pics installed on the car, from both above and below?

Thanks,

David

Love the system, very simple and clean!
My FFR uses the oval tubing and similar muffs (Spintech) but exits in front of the rear wheels. Not sure that set-up will work with an FFR both because of the gas tank position and the rear crossmember. The crossmember can be notched as one FFR builder did but I still think the tank hangs too far down to run the muffs there.
There are pics of my system in my gallery.

Hi Guys,
Don is moving the fuel tank to the trunk area for this build. It will carry less fuel than our standard tank and will be low profile. The bottom of the tank will conform to the frame rails to add a little more fuel space. He has been adding a lot of heat shielding in that area. We will keep you up to date. The customer has seen the progress and is very happy.

P.S. Maricopa, I just checkout the exhaust in your gallery. I'm trying to get Don to build us a bolt on system like that. We are too bust at the moment, but maybe this summer. Yours looks great.

Thanks. It works nice but looks a little crude. I bought the tubing pre-bent to my specs by the Dr. Gas guys and then cobbled the transitions together using the FFR 'J' pipes.
It runs very close to the frame in a couple places but I have solid motor mounts so it doesn't knock anywhere. The pipes themselves use flexible mounts in the back. Eventually I'd like to add a crossover up front and run them out the back into some round chrome tips for a more accurate/classy look.
