Default Hey - Drive on Sunday to Annapolis for crabs?

Hey Guys;

Thanks a lot, i will check out the DC club, im actually going to try and meet at the VI for breakfast on Saturday.
Here are all the pics of my car from Vintage, who built the car:
http://www.vintage-motorsports.com/gallery/BDR340

I have not driven it a lot yet, i only got the tags on Friday of last week and i was away at CMP this weekend on my motorbike

I went out for a spin last night, and canx plans to go away next weekend so my GF and I can drive up to Annapolis and get steamed crabs on Sunday, really looking forward to that, if anyone wants to drive up let me know.

There were a couple of minor issues with the car, but Jay at Vintage is being very helpfull and we are resolving them.

is this normal, last night before going to bed i went to my garage and just stared at my car, it hasnt really sunk in yet that its mine.

oh, and what do you guys say if soemone says its a kit, it doesnt seem right to call it a kit, but maybe im being a snob

cheers

David

Dave,

I know what you mean about staring at the car like that. I do the same, and then think how lucky I am.

When they ask if it's a kit, I just say it's a replica of the original with modern suspension and tires to make it handle better than the original.

When they ask how much it cost (and they will), my favorite response is "Well now, how much do you make a year?" For some reason, they think that is nosy, unlike asking how much I paid for the car.

Keep us posted!

Cheers!
Dave
