SOurce for Weber parts
Folks:
I am trying to restore a set of 48 IDAs and have run into a stone wall trying to find a couple of parts:
Idle Jet holder part no: 77903.120
Pump jet part no: 76402.050 (although this may have been replaced by oart no: 76406
I've spoken to the good folks at Weber direct, Redline and Pierce. They are all out of stock. Any suggestions as to where I might go for these parts?
Ideally, I would like to get 9 of each, but would settle for any number.
Thanks.
Jim

Try www.aircooled.net.
They have a lot of hard to find Weber parts. Also check out their tech articles. They have a couple of really good ones on Webers - specially rebuilding IDAs.

webersdirect says they have the best prices on the net, don't know if they have the parts. Hi Jim.

Webers direct did not have the parts. I have ordered from the before, but they are "out of stock" on what are cosidered non-service parts. They were even out of the rebuild kits (which I did find a Pierce).

The idle air holders are easily resized with the correct drills, no issue to resize a .10 to a 1.20.......5 seconds with a pin vise twisting it with your fingers.

Rick Parker: For some reason one of the idle jet holders has a "tab" broken off, so that's why I need to replace that. As for the pump jet; the set of four IDA carbs had seven and was missing one, thus the need for that. As I recall (these carbs have been in "inventory" for a couple of decades), I think I originally got them from Enzo at Finishline.
Rick Lake: Now first of all, I don't do "bling", thus, no chrome weber stacks for me. I'm even going to go back and take all the red/blue aeroquip fittings off the FIA and GT... when I get some time. As for the TWM setup, I'm sure it is very nice, but, frankly, if Webers were good enough 40 years ago, they're good enough for me now. ...and I don't need no "POP" no way, no how.

The idle holders are the same as DCOE.
