Default Gas Mileage

What kinds of gas mileage do you all get with your webers. Or do you not care? I think I am only getting about 8 miles to the gallon.. lol. Dead prius owners are rolling in their graves now...

A better comparison could be done it you mentioned your engine displacement, rear end ratio, tire size, transmission, driving in parades. on the track and what kind of webers. I get about 15 MPG, but I don't have Webers..... 750 Holly on a 427.

I know that this isn't relevant to your combo and in these cars gas mileage isn't the primary consideration. My Cobra has an LS6, 6 speed tremec (double overdrive), and 3:42 gears. It gets 33 mpg!

My car is strictly street driving. I have a 395CI stroked windsor with the 4 Weber carbs. I have the T5Z transmission with the 93 Mustang GT rear end. I don't recall the gears that come in that.. 3.27:1 maybe. I don't think I get the greatest gas mileage. My only reason to ask is if I decide to go on long treks how many times will I have to fill up. Every 30 minutes.. lol..

I think I was getting about 13-14 mpg on the highway, probably 10 mpg around town . Although that was during break-in. Probably a bit better now. I don't really care so haven't been paying attention to it, but maybe I will. Be interested to know I guess. 427FE, 750 Holley, TKO 600 with 3.31 read end.
