gas filling the carb

I had a little leak @ the float so I took out the float pin and turn the copper washer around and ti stopped ,the float must have stuck and would fill up and leak out the bottom of the carb at the gasket onto the manifold.I back off the pin and reset and that carb stopped filling frt.carb and now the back carb is filling up and leaking and I never touched that one,these are new .

all fixed took both apart cleaned and started and no leaks ,cut the hood sat.to clear the front stacks and will remount and take it out to see if it will run and where to start to tune.
