Default Fuel at or near the Track?

What sort of fuel is available at or near Fernley Racetrack? I hope to burn thru AT LEAST one tank of gas at the track....where and for how much is the refueling gonna take place?

When I was at the track taking ET's school in October there was race gas available at the track. I don't remember how much it cost as I brought my own 110 octane leaded with me.

There will be leaded and un leaded race gas, water, and air available at the track. There are plenty of gas stations right in Fernley too, if you get in a pinch. It is a good idea to fill up before you get to the track but don't do it in Fernley or you might be sitting in line with 60 other cobras. Try to plan ahead. Track fuel is right there if you empty your tank by the end of the day.

What ever gas you normally run in your car is what you should run at the track.

NOTE: Fernley is about 4400 ft. above sea level. If your car is jetted right and use to running near sea level, and you normally run your car with Super unleaded, don't expect it to run better with 100/110 race gas at the track.

My car will be running about 2-3 jets sizes too rich when I get up there, but I'm going to leave it as-is and don't plan to run race fuel which can and will aggravate the situation even more. Bringing my jet pack though, just in case its really bad.

Yes, very true. My motor was making lots of power on the track last week but was running like a blubbering pig at low rpm. Keep it simple. Your focus is going to be learning and practicing good driving techniques and not a test & tune session. Now fill it up!
