				 WSCB Track Day Numbers 2007
WE ARE FULL! TRACK DAY REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!
Hi to all 2007 Track-Day Attendees,

If you have not checked in with me regarding your car number, please do so as soon as possible so I can get your number verified. We can not have duplicate numbers on the track for the primary reason of SAFETY. If there is a problem or incident during a track session, the corner worker(s) need to identify the car(s) and location. Obviously, they need to communicate the car number and turn number so saftey crews can do their job quickly. Having 2 or 3 cars out there with the same number would make it confusing for everyone.
The order of things goes as follows:
1. Returning 2006 folks, cars with painted on numbers, and historic cars have priority. If there are duplications, we will add a letter or number next to the duplicate number on one or more cars.
2. New folks for 2007 can have remaining numbers in chronological order. So, the sooner you check in with me, the better your chances of getting your number.
3. This will be the official number list for the WSCB-Track Day event. We are building this list so that folks can keep their numbers if they continue to attend future WSCB-Track Day events.
Please contact Bob at "Operations Plus" to place your meatball order: 714-962-2776

Duane should have received my stuff by Thursday, but I'm not on the list yet. My SPF Coupe is chassis 88 and has 88 painted on the rear cove. I see that 88 is taken, so I'm open to suggestions...
 Doug

Thanks John, sent you an email. As long as whatever it is can be read whilst it spins around, it should be good!

John,I see Don Newman was on the list from last year, and he did track day. Maybe we just assign a small X,Y,Z to the others with painted on numbers since there is an A,B,C rungroup; just a thought.

				 Western States Application
I submitted my application for the Western States Cobra Bash on November 3, but I don't see my name on the list yet. It doesn't appear that my registration check has cleared.
I am anxious to participate in the Track Day and want to confirm that I will be included and use #21 if available.

I did not participate last year as I purchased my 65 FFR Roadster in June 06 and am in the process of rebuilding it.

 Jim

Hi Jim,The Treasurer has not deposited checks yet, and she is doing the first accounting; she was out of town for a week. John was at my place today, and will get your post/number situation pinned down soon. If 21 is not already taken, it won't be a problem. DC

				 Car Number Update
 To all 2007 Track-Day Attendees,
There are 15 or 16 of you who are not on the number list here. Please check in and let me know what your intentions are regarding your car number. I would rather not have to be running around the morning of Track Day with a roll of ugly blue tape putting and "X" next to your number . You can email or pm me.

Everyone else who has checked in, please review the list to make sure I didn’t screw up. No need to comment or email if AOK. Also, thank you for your patients and taking the time to help me coordinate all the car numbers. It will be one less thing to worry about on Track Day.

Bob at Operations Plus will be using this assigned number list as a master. Also, it is much easier for him to place a large meatballs order one or two times. So, he is waiting for me to give him the complete list before he orders. It would be great if everyone would check in for an assigned number. I will update the list as often as possible.

Only 6 months to go!

Talk soon and thank you, John
