Glad to hear that you are doing better this side of the surgery!

Work with the docs, and you will soon be feeling better than you have for a long time, correcting blockages like that.

I hope they gave you one of those pillows to hug any time you have to cough, sneeze or (worse) laugh. Either way, you don't want to have friends over who feel like telling you jokes. And, this may be tacky but - did you opt for the standard zipper, or go with blue stripes down your chest?

Thanks guys..I opted for the standard zipper....Doc did a great job on that...I Start rehab on Monday and looking forward to it..I'm using the center by the hospital.Everything is right their...Nutrition, Cardio Docs, huge workout rooms with big TV'S and showers too..They keep you well monitored and watch your food intake also..I really need that..I really need to learn ""WHAT TO EAT AND WHAT'S HEALTHY !"" My Daytona was getting harder and harder to get into...I just hope and pray that I can drive it to Sparks... Dave

David, don't rush anything. The Western States Cobra Bash is a great enough event that it will be there again next year if you have to miss it this year. Take care of yourself (and the birds) and you will be back on your feet before you know it!

Dave,
That is not an easy surgery. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I know several people that have had it done and the people who have had the easiest recovery were the ones who kept an upbeat and positive outlook, did what the doctors told them and had a lot of love and support from their family. Sounds like you are on the right track.

Hope you are back behind the wheel in no time!

No, not this year. I have had other plans for a long time. We are going to 83rd on 5/3 though. Also planning on going to Mid America in Tulsa next month!

Take it easy on your trip to Reno and watch out for earthquakes!!!

Hey davids, it's good to hear that you will be attending the WSCB in two weeks. Keep following the doc's orders and we'll meet you for the drive up there.
