Default Lone Star...

Hey guys,

I'm still doing research and was wondering if any of you looked at lone star? They seem to be in my budget and I plan on calling tommorow but would like some feedback from you. Thanks.

GS,

Contact Arcenio, he owns a nice LoneStar and lives in Chicago. On this forum his 'handle' is 'Snake Oil'. Send him an email and I'm sure he can give you some insights on that brand of snake. Good Luck - Len

GS,

I thought I sent you a contact list? Oh well, I'll send you one tomorrow from work. It's an Excel listing. It may help you with your search. Len

Default Lone Star vs Others

From an x-Downers Grove resident I have a lone star and am very happy with it..... Also found Dennis and Steve at LS very helpful and great to work with. If you would like more info or whatever

Do some research before you buy.

Check out a couple of manufacturers and if possible go visit your favorites.

The LS is a "stretch" kit, it's got a longer wheelbase. The longer wheelbase will give you more room. It will also look "odd" if there are other 90" cars around.

I'm not going with LS. because it is longer and the doors look kinda wrong. I also don't like the fiberglass interior panel(tub) that they use. I have really shopped around and narrowed it down to either 1)Midstates, Unique (but can't fit 460) and E&M. But this may change again! I wont be buying till Next year anyway and i still need to visit a company. Hopefully I can see midstates before the end of this year. Thank you for your input.
