Best Drag Radial?

I have a 17' rim (sorry to the purists out there), low profile tire (Goodyear Eagle F1 currently). Backdraft racing recommeds Nitto Extreme Drag or the NT555. Are they any good? Does does anyone really know this stuff and can recommend something better?

I want some treadlife, but much more concerned about traction at launch and don't care to drive in the rain - ever
