jimbo,

you should be able get into the 11.5 range exactly the way you sit now. I ran an 11.7 with my 396w that was 323rwhp. You don't need a head and cam swap. Just a little more practice to get there. If you're thinking heads and a supercharger, save some money and swap to a 500+" BB and be done with it. It should last longer also.

Ran a couple of 11.1's and a best of 11.00 with my 427w with a mild hydraulic roller cam. Only ran it at the track once. Just need more practice.
Spring is just around the corner........In about 5 months......LOL

Default 500+" bb

Chris,

What's a 500+" BB? If it is a new engine, I think new heads and cam (and maybe a supercharger) will be a lot cheaper. I also love the way the way the car handles with the smaller block.

Wow, 11.7 on 323 rwhp, you have given me new hope - and crushed my ego (with my driving skills) at the same time. Maybe when I get some decent drag radials and get rid of the gutless tires I have, it will make a difference (along with the new HP). Maybe we can hook up at Byron and you can give me some pointers.
