June 26 - Run to the Rock - NOTE DATE CHANGE AGAIN
Save the date for the upcoming Poker Run "Run to the Rock", this will be similar to previous trips to Starved Rock, with a twist on how to acquire additional cards for your poker hand. There will be a small fee to get into the game, but if you just want to ride along that's okay as well.
The Date is June 12th, rain date June 13th. More information to follow, keep an eye on the thread.

Sorry for putting out the Date of June 12th out so soon, I was reminded that I made some other commitments for this weekend. So I have revised the date to June 19th, the day before Fathers Day, with the rain date of Saturday June 26th. More info to follow, again sorry for the quick change hope this works with most of you.

Sorry Bob, this is only a day trip, one long day. We may start around 9AM should be back by 5PM, some could leave earlier and take highway home to shorten the trip.

Red,
You're coming back???? Everyone lock up their wives, daughters and hide all your cold Heineken quickly. There goes the neighborhood and property values!!
Seriously Red, I’m glad your back; we’ve missed you and the first Heineken is on me.

Badman, was RED gone also? Or do you have my Red Cobra mixed up with Marty's Red Cobra?

Thanks Rich, a few have offered to help an d I may take you guys up on your offer. I have made a test run of the route and need to work on places to stop to compete for additional cards to add to the poker hand, there will be prizes and a trophy to the winning team. I might ask that we take another run together to finalize details before posting to all that will attend. I'll talk to you off line later.
Lets hope for sunny weather; and everyone must pay their gas bill when we stop to refuel!

I won't be able to make it, although it sounds like a great day trip. I will be in beautiful Reno, NV that weekend.

Guys,
Damm, just realized I'm in Vegas that weekend therefore will be unable to make the WCCC outing. This really is a great event and sorry I can't join everyone. Hope the weather is warm and dry. Be safe but have fun.

A few of us were able to make a trial run today; boy was it hot! Lots of work to do, and may need to shorten the trip. With only three cars it took us three hours to get to Ottawa, which is about half the trip. The trip will need to start by 9AM to beat the heat and morning traffic, a starting point will be selected soon, somewhere near route 88 and Napper Road.
I would also appreciate some responses as to who will all be attending. I believe we have about 7 cars so far.
