Dyno Day!
I talked with a friend about dyno discounts... The dyno is in Sycamore and if we can get 5 cars minimum, it will be $50 for 3 or 4 pulls. After I find 5 cars I'll set up a date.

The dyno is a Dynojet 224 rated at 1500 horsepower.

I'll plan on going, count me in. If you get more than five interested, I'll give up my spot and I'll still come for the ride. Will there be someone there that can also make adjustments and tune for better results? Fred

I'm not sure who Sten talked to back in March, but my friend Joe is the only guy with 224 DynoJet in Sycamore. I was out at the shop today. Joe and I are wrapping up a Roush supercharged engine swap in my 06 GT Mustang. It goes on the dyno tomorrow afternoon.
I mentioned this post and he doesn't remember talking to anybody about a dyno day, but would be more than happy to do one.
If you guys can get 5 cars. It would be $60 for 3 pulls on the dyno (no tuning)
If you can get 8 cars. It would drop to $50 for 3 pulls (again no tuning)
Anybody wanting/needing tuning. Times and costs would be discussed aside from the dyno day.
Joe is one of the best ford guys in the area, but has tons of experience with all domestic and foreign makes and models. Rear wheel and front wheel drives are no problem. Naturally aspirated or EFI is no problem.
Let me know if there is an interest and we can set it up.

No need to ask... Joe, myself and Mike were working on my Mustang (*) at the shop until about an hour ago. If Mike said $50 for 5 cars than no problem. Get a list of people and a date and lets do it. We're right in the heart of the busy season for the dyno, so I would suggest if there's interest. I'd lock down a date ASAP.
Like I stated in my earlier post.
Rear wheel drive - no problem
Front wheel drive - no problem
Carbureted - no problem
EFI - no problem
(*) My 06 Mustang made a pull tonight at around 440RWHP on a basic tune. Both Joe and Mike say there is another 100HP+ to be gained. Thats on pump gas and running through an automatic

So if anyone is curious about how good Joe and Mike are with a dyno and tuning... This is what my street tune for my 06 Mustang GT did on the dyno tonight.
510RWHP and 463ft-lb of torque 
Lets get you guys out to the shop and on the dyno!!!

I been outta town for over a week and missed this---did they log the boost also???and if so what was it??
