Default BDR 903 almost done!

It has been a long year and half working on my project and I am almost there. I bought the chassis from Jay at Vintage Motorsports and he and his team have been great to work with. I am extremely happy with the decision I have made.

I still have a few loose ends to finish up and will focus on them during the winter months. Overall the cobra runs good, but need a tune along with an alignment before the driving season next year.

I thought I would share some pics and introduce myself to the Windy City enthusiasts. And look forward to next spring!

Welcome to the wonderful wacky world of cobra ownership. That is a beautiful car. The finished product reflects your eighteen months of dedication, commitment and due diligence that anyone would be proud to own. It’s also my favorite color black.

FYI…I owned a 1997 black Mustang Cobra with the 4.6 engine rated a 305 horsepower. It was a great car and I particularly loved that engine. Send me a PM if you need any help completing the car.

I look forward to seeing you on the road next Spring.

Looks great. I have #821 from Vintage, very similar to yours. The 4.6 sc and rt3b is an awesome combination.

So cool... I've gotta get out someday and drive that thing. Amazing. Going to see our 67 with the terminator this week. That's only a 4 year project!

that looks great. I love the purple stitching on the leather and dash, awesome contrast against the black.

Agree... the 4.6 really is a great compliment to these cars. Docile and easy to drive when you want it, but small children beware when these engines rev up.
