				 Bob Malmen
Sid just called and informed me that Bob Malmen passed away today. He had been suffering with pancreatic cancer, but didn't win the battle. I hope to find out about his service and share. DAMN!!!! |

I'm sorry to hear that Bob Malmen has passed. There's only so many of us "Cobra Characters" here in Chicagoland and one less is too many! Bob was a very nice man and loved his bright yellow Cobra! May he rest in peace in a reserved section of "Cobraland"! |

When I looked through the WCCC holiday party photos and did not see him in any of the pictures I was very concerned.
I wrote an e-mail to Bob just a few days ago asking how he was doing, but when I didn't get a response within a few days, I had a bad feeling he was not doing well.
Bob was a great guy and I am very sorry we all have lost a good friend, at such an early age.
We love you, Brother, rest in peace!

I too will miss Bob. He could always be counted on to show-up at an event with his bright yellow car and an equally bright smile. I think that is the way I will mostly remember him - with a big happy grin on his face.
Bob was certainly a major reason why we participate in Cobra events.
 He will be missed.
