I went there on Sunday. It was pretty neat. They had a lot of vendors.

The best part was the engine build competition, pretty amazing to tear down and reassemble an engine in 25 mins

I was there Sunday afternoon--they had a lot of very bored vendors--I think splitting the displays between two buildings killed off the impact of what would have been some very impressive displays----As I made rounds, I would be in front of a display and looking at something, and the rep in the display would be talking to the rep in the next display and almost totally disregard that I was there--It took several minutes for several of them to address the fact that a person was looking at something and enter into a conversation about the items.I really look at this show falling on the wayside---

However---I did enter into a conversation with the guy from Five Star racecar bodies from Twin LaKES Wi about a visit from the WCCC and he indicated that would be OK---they make the carbon fiber bodies for all the NHRA Pro SAtockers, plus lots of other things--

The only problem with these type of events is that you end up smelling like a Hot Dog all day after attending one. Even if you don't eat a dog.
Spent some time talking with the MSD guy... and Vic Edelbrock & his daughter were there with a huge trailer display... I lunched at Strat's Saturday....
Sunday was the British Car Swap Meet. Did that too early Sunday Morning...
Picked up a new lead hammer cheap and found some old Lucas toggle switches for my dashboard wall hanging. Still missing the yellow TS indicator on the dash though...Maybe next year I'll find one... Nice weekend overall.

I also did spend some time talking to the MSD guy--actually the local sales rep for about 22 of the vendors took me to the msd booth to discuss some things about there new throttle body fuel injector and controller. Interesting conversation and he made several notes--the rep was expecting Corey to be there, but even I almost missed the show account of attending funeral for a friends wife--

Didn't see anything of Vic on sUNDAY, wanted to say Hi---his guys used to do the balancing of our top fuel cranks and his place was sorta a gathering place for several writers/photogs type people--actually I think he leaves and goes to Daytona!!
