Aug. Meeting in Rockford????
I would like to suggest an Aug. meeting in Rockford on Thursday, Aug 2 at BeefaRoo on south Alpine.
It is a unique fast food place with great shakes and about 10 flavors of them. This one is also set up as a 50s/60s place.
I know this means a bit of a drive for most, so if that is not what you want to do then suggest another place.
Below is a link to the place and its address and a few photos. Take I90 to I39 then to Route 20 (like you are heading to Freeport) and exit at Alpine (first exit after the I39 cut off) and head north about 1/4 mile. It is on the west side of Alpine.

Meeting time of 6:30 worked well last month. So what do you say????
