Default Looking for someone to give me a ride

Hi,

I'm knee deep in doing research on buying a Cobra and the sad thing is I have actually never been in one. So I'm reaching out to you locals to see if someone will let me tag along.

Is there anyone in the Schaumburg area looking for a passenger to go for a drive? I'm available most days after work and the weekends as well. If possible, I would like to ride in a Superformance or Backdraft.

Willing to meet just about any area around Chicago and would be more than happy to buy you a beer or throw you a few bucks for gas.

Thanks,
Doug

Blas is the expert on Superformance (IMO), so feel free to ask lots of questions!

It was different. Didn't know what to expect. Lots of things I liked, several that I didn't.

Oddly I was worried about the sound most, and that ended up being much quieter than I thought it was going to be.

Not completely sold on buying one now. Really want something I can drive more often so I'm not sure the cobra is the right car with the top issue.

Drive more often, ha, I have put 3000 miles on mine this year alone. The first year I put 7000 miles on it. Over the five years of ownership I have totaled more than 20,000 miles. How many miles are you targeting???

I mean it is a GREAT car and still stands out even at 50 years old shape.
