Thinking ahead

OK, I'll take the bait about posting. I even got the car out of storage and drove it around the neighborhood last Friday - now it looks like no decent weather for a weak and a half.

Anyone thinking about London this year? I was going to run Mid-Ohio but there is a two day gap between the end of the LCS and mid-Ohio. Still I might want to run down for the show since it has been 3 years since I attended.

Also, kind of a stretch for a WCC outing but Lee and I are registered to run at Road America on June 27 & 28. From what I read, no issues with getting folks to watch in as long as they have names in advance.

I just got back from Florida and one of the highlights was watching the 12-hour race at Sebring. Honestly we didn't make it to the end, but it was good fun with a race dominated by yellows. To run at that track is now on the bucket list. Peg enjoyed it since she got to see "Doctor McDreamy" (aka Patrick Dempsey). Those guys had a tough day.

So did anyone else do anything interesting lately, or to the car?

FYI, I found a source for the "country flag and driver name" decals like the big boys put on their cars, both in static cling and permanent. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will post website.

Mine ended up with a dead battery and a coolant leak on the last trip out before going into storage for the winter. My big news is that we are moving! We are staying in Chicagoland (barely), but will probably not be able to go out on the spring cruises until we're settled in and get this house on the market.

I'd be interested in the decals. I have a couple others I wanted to put on the car, but not sure about placement.
