Questions from new CR owner

Greetings all,

I hope I'm posting in the right place... I just recently picked up an EM Gen 1 Cobra and am new to the site. As a kid, I watched my dad rebuild Mustangs and listened to him talk about building a Cobra endlessly. I was lucky enough to recently get my hands on one. Needs to be totally rebuilt, but she runs so I can finish the summer on the road before the work begins...Super pumped.

I'm looking for some local advice on a couple of fronts:

1- I live in Elmhurst and am wondering if anyone in this forum has a reputable welder/body shop in the area... need to install some roll bars and eventually have some body work done. Is there a reputable "cobra specialist" in the Chicagoland area?

2- As we recently moved to this town, not too familiar with the area. Looking for some suggestions on where I can really drive this thing! I know I have the interstates, but looking for some curves. Any insight would be great.

If I'm not posting in the right spot, would be much appreciated if you could steer me in the right direction.
