				 The HEMI comes home
 Hey guys,
Sorry I missed the meeting last Saturday, I'll try to make the next one... by the way, when is it?

Thought I'd drop a line with progress of the 528 HEMI project:
http://www.mtdesign.com/cobra
I used Rich's Transport to bring it back here and he does nice work for those looking to move cars around. Friendly, on-time and works with Shell Valley/Midstates = nice for me seeing as E-M is still out of business. I plan on finishing things up most of the summer and hopefully getting around to ordering the body in the fall/winter. So far I only heard it run over the phone. I need to hook up some gauges and add fuel and it will run... to bad it’s stationary, but I can still give my neighbor a scare!

Later, Mark |

Let us know how it sounds in person
Where'd you get the gas tank?

GS...that other Cobra belongs to Larry Meyer (Omaha) and is a Midstates with an Aluminum Shelby 427, 2x4's etc and a C6...
You can see some images here.
http://www.gessford.com/work/images/LarryMeyer427.htm
We aligned the two Cobras side by side etc so Mark could have some references points for his future assembly work at home.
The Hemi Snake was a great project and working with Mark was a real pleasure too! That motor is a BEAST...wait until you guys hear it in person.....it has it's own personality!

you can view more images of Mark's Chassis and Motor here.
