				 Finally something to show
After a long time at the painter (I picked Greg's Hotrods in Lake Bluff) I am finally making some progress.
It looks like I have turned my summer project into a winter project. Easily (or did I just jinx it?) should be ready for cruisin in the summer.

Hopefully I will have something for Blas that isn't me standing by a fiberglass body at Unique soon.

Dave, It looks cool and ready for a test drive. It is in the 50's that's perfect for cruising. I'd go with you but my insurance is cancelled for December. Can't wait for spring

Dave,It always takes longer than expected - I believe it's sometype of corollary to Murphy's Law.
In your case, looks like it was worth the time - your car is very nice. Very nice indeed.
What color is it? What color are the strips?
The most important question of all - When will it be ready for a cruise?

Dave stay away from Wolfie, there's a reason someone took his keys away. Nice looking car maybe we need to make a garage crawl to see it. Any good restarants in your area for breakfast. By the way how is Jeff Koller doing, he's in your neck of the woods. |

				 Indigo Blue - Silver Strips
The colors are Indigo Blue with Mercedes Silver Stripes. I went back and forth on color choices but always liked the blue - silver was something slightly different instead of white. I will try to post a better picture but the flash in the garage doesn't really show off the paint job. Need to get the car off the lift and out in the sun for a better picture.
The weather being in the 50's would make a nice test drive but I still have plenty of work to keep me busy in the garage before even starting the motor. Wiring, radiator, oiler cooler all on the to-do list this weekend.

In regards to a garage tour, one local breakfast stops in the area is Full Moon. It is a popular biker breakfast stop on 41 just south of 137 that is only a mile or so away since Highland House closed.

 Dave,
Awesome color combination!! Call me if you need some help with the final assembly. We definitely want you on the road cruising this summer.
